    What is Own Art?

    Own Art, another way to collect.

     

    Own Art lets you pay for art over 10 months with interest-free payments. Available on purchases between £250 – £5,000, it makes collecting original art simple and accessible.

     

    Own Art is a Creative United initiative supported by Arts Council England, Arts Council of Wales, Creative Scotland and Arts Council of Northern Ireland.

  • Do you deliver outside the UK?

    We can arrange international shipping. Costs depend on size and destination. Email Luke at hello@ottegallery.co.uk with the artwork and delivery address for a quote.

     

    Do you offer payment plans?

    Selected works are available through Own Art, allowing you to spread the cost over 10 months. Find out more below.

     

    Can I reserve an artwork?

    We can usually hold works for 24 hours. Just get in touch if you’d like us to reserve a piece.

     

    Can I commission an artwork?

    We work with selected artists on commissions. Get in touch to start a conversation.

     

    Do you offer curation services?

    We help collectors, designers and private clients source and place work in homes and interior spaces. We’d love to hear from you.

     

    How do I enquire about exhibiting?

    Send us a short introduction along with examples or links to your work. We appreciate every submission, though we may not always be able to reply individually.

     

    Can you include a gift note?

    We’re happy to include a handwritten note with any gift purchase. Just let us know when ordering or enquiring.

     

    Is framing included?

    If a work is shown framed, the frame is included. If it’s unframed, we can talk you through framing options and recommend local framers.

     

    Are the artists local?

    Most are based in Cornwall, with others across the UK having some connection to place, landscape or material in their practice.

     

    How often do exhibitions change?

    Around every 6 weeks. New exhibitions, works and events are shared via Instagram and our mailing list.

     

    How do you pronounce otte?

    We say “oat”. It comes from the Cornish “ottena”, meaning to look or notice.
