Rachel Koerner

Based in Falmouth, Rachel draws inspiration from the rhythms and textures of the sea. Influenced by aquatic life and the Cornish coastline, her work captures a sense of fluidity, movement, and quiet immersion.

Rachel grew up on the Dorset coast and later studied Graphic Design at Falmouth School of Art. After time spent in Portugal and a multi-sector corporate career, she returned to Cornwall and is now reconnecting with her creative practice.

Working with the historic cyanotype process, she embraces its unpredictability, using light, chemistry, and time to create layered, one-of-a-kind works with rich tonal variation.
